A free account can keep 5 routes, 1 trip, and 10 waypoints on any route. That is enough to draw a line and see if it fits. Pro removes the route and trip caps and raises the waypoint limit to 200.

Both plans use the same map. Free is a small library so you can draw a ride and decide if the planner fits. Pro is $5/month when you want to keep more, hand the track to a GPS, or send the plan to someone else.

Where the plans differ
GPX import and export
Free planning stays on the map. Pro exports a GPX file your GPS can follow, for the route you are editing or for a whole trip. Import, also part of Pro, turns a track you already have into a route you can edit.
Share links
A free plan stays in your account. Pro can create a link for a route or a trip. Anyone with the link can open the map and the plan while the subscription is active. They sign in only if they want to save a copy.
